LDMFA will play host to the members of the Melbourne Radio Controller Helicopter Club for an interclub fun fly as a lead up to the Victorian State Championships being held in November.
The Field will be closed to general flying from 10.30 am – 4.00 pm on Sunday 12th September.
Video from the Display Day 2010 is up on YouTube. So if you were too busy cooking pancakes for mum and didn’t make it down to the field, grab a cuppa and see what you missed. It’s about 22 minutes long and includes some onboard video from one of the combat fliers that captures many near misses.
If you’d like a copy on DVD, leave a comment here and I’ll see how many I can get done before Wednesday night’s meeting.
Pete Bailey just sent through details or two more events at the LDMFA field in October, a Scale and Pylon day.
